PAHs， Scientific name: polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. In the environment, organic pollutants are ubiquitous, with polycyclic aromatic compounds (PAHs) being the majority, and some have been proven to be carcinogenic and mutagenic to humans. There are over 100 known PAHs, and 16 PAHs are regulated by the US Environmental Protection Agency
